We need people – people like those in TB Alert, who are focused and ambitious and care for people at grass roots in the UK, India and Africa. Dr Lucica Ditiu, Executive Secretary of the Stop TB Partnership
Once you have considered your friends and family please consider leaving a life-changing gift to TB Alert. You can make a lasting gift that will go on to fight TB long after your own lifetime, by providing a specific gift or a percentage of your estate.
Your support could help us work towards a future where TB can finally be confined to history where it belongs. If you decide to give a gift to TB Alert in your will, we can promise that your donation will help make treatment accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it.
Your gift will save lives: Your gift will be appreciated for generations to come....
TB has taken many great lives early, including both Anne and Emily Bronte; George Orwell; Franz Kafka; Dylan Thomas; Florence Nightingale; and Alexander Graham Bell.
Many more people survived TB, including our Patron Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, Tina Turner, Ringo Starr and Sir Tom Jones. Your legacy will help young people like Amy and Alfred to fulfill their potential. Perhaps, like Archbishop Tutu, they will even go on to greatness themselves and use their position to advocate for better services for people affected by TB.
How do I leave a legacy to TB Alert?
If you plan to remember TB Alert in your will you should seek the advice of a solicitor or other professional adviser. If you already have a will, it can be changed at any time during your life to reflect your changing priorities. To include TB Alert as a beneficiary, you will need to complete a legal document known as a Codicil Form, listing any amendments you may wish to make to your existing will. To discuss leaving a legacy in your will to TB Alert please call Giles Witcomb at TB Alert on 01273 234784.
