Sultana Begum a TB patient who goes to Syed, the local tailor for her DOT:

Sultana was diagnosed with glandular TB when she was referred to Mahavir hospital after experiencing pain in her lymph nodes. Her DOT provider throughout her six months of treatment is Syed, and she visits his tailor shop during her school lunch break. If it wasn’t for Syed, Sultana would have to miss an afternoon of school three times a week to visit the TB clinic, so she sees Syed as her hero.

Fortunately she has not experienced prejudice as a result of her diagnosis – in fact, friends have been following her treatment closely and are now extremely well informed about the symptoms and the treatment!
