TB Alert is a "human TB charity" and while Bovine TB is a concern where it affects humans, we do not offer veterinary expertise, neither do we take an official stance on the "badger" debate. However we find the topic interesting and know that many of our supporters do too, so we do occasionally cover items of interest or offer some links to external organisations which are concerned with animal TB:

Just like in humans, healthy animals with strong immune systems are much less likely to get ill with active TB.
One farmer featured on Radio 4's Today programme (who lives in a Bovine TB hotspot) has seemingly been able to keep his herd TB free by providing licks containing specific minerals for both his cattle AND the badgers on his land.
