Soldier, fundraiser and ex-TB patient Simon Richardson has now raised more than £5,000 for TB Alert, through his combined fundraising efforts.
Simon cycled from John O’Groat’s to Land’s End for us last week, completing the journey in just eight days, and raising more than £1,100! This follows on from an amazing effort in 2012 when he rowed the equivalent of the English Channel in his local gym, all when he still had TB, which raised close to £4,000 for us.
TB Alert Chief Executive Mike Mandelbaum says: “We are constantly impressed by Simon’s get-up-and-go, which even drug-resistant TB couldn’t dampen. It was fantastic to see him once again doing a sporting challenge to raise funds for TB Alert.”
