TB Alert is co-organising a session at Public Health England’s (PHE’s) second annual conference, which is being held on 16-17 October in Coventry. We are working with the British Thoracic Society to develop the session, which will outline the role of public health and technological advances in tuberculosis control.
PHE has made the control of tuberculosis a priority, and a TB strategy was recently published for a three-month consultation process.
The PHE conference brings together over 1300 participants representing around 400 organisations, and is an important showcase for the latest advances, knowledge and best practice in public health, with evidence into practice at the core of the programme.
